I Have No Secrets

by Penny Joelson

I have no secrets of my own.

I can’t do anything without someone knowing about it.

I can see, though, and I can hear, and sometimes people forget this…

Sometimes people tell me their secrets and I can’t tell anyone. I wish I could do something.

I think that this book was incredible, it was a very different plot line and it treated a sensitive issue in a very good way. I l loved the strength of the main character and I just thought it was amazing.

This is the first book I have read this year for spellbinding. I think this is the best book I have read this year. it is really interesting and it lets us in on the life of Jemma. However it is a quick book to read.

This was also my first spellbinding book to read, and I really enjoyed it. The entire plot was exciting and I found myself really sharing the frustration felt by Jemma, so much that I think I might’ve went crazy if she never found a way to communicate and was so happy when she did. I thought the book tackled a difficult subject really well and gave a perfect insight into the life of someone with such a serious disability. I thought the ending was perfect and loved how everything basically came together for her.

I have only read the first few pages and am already enticed, I hope it is a great read all the way through.

I think this book is very interesting. I really like the main character who never gives up on what she does and is determined in everything she does. I would give it 5/5 and would recommend this book to anyone.
