Nancy Parker’s Spooky Speculations is a good book. You can use your brain and think! You also learn lots of new words and I could barely turn a page without asking “What does this mean?” I would recommend it to all spellbinders out there though more to girls than boys! Amy

Nancy Parkers spooky speculations was very unusual but enjoyable. It isn’t my favorite book but it is one of them. i love how it is set out with ink splodges and crossings out like a real diary. I loved it.

I haven’t read all of this but it is amazing. I chose this book because I like paranormal activities, I am not going to be a spoiler but it defiantly gave me that. I started this book and realised it was a lot like one of my greatest interests: Sherlock Holmes it is very detective like. I haven’t read any others but I have an estimate it will be my favourite by a country mile. I would suggest this book to every single one of my friends, as I like to read it every night and day. I find it… Read more »

I think this book is brilliant, amazing. I do recommend it to all people aged over 9 and 9. This book has been made beautifully and she has used a lot of creativity. My favorite parts would be when she would put the the list of things like she said what was suspicious on that night.

I am half way through the book but I don’t really like it because the plot is too long. I feel nothing much happens. It’s taking too long to develop into an interesting, grabing story. I am a bit bored and disinterested. But I do like the style of Nancy’s journal. I feel I don’t really care what is going to happen to the main character. My favourite character is Ella Otter because she is funny and I like to see how she gets on in her new school. I would recommend this book if you are into detective stories.
